To complete this tutorial, you should be familiar with the following techniques:
- Creating a Rick Rack on a PodCast and detaching the finished beadwork
- Even-count peyote stitch
- Herringbone increases and decreases
- Creating picot edging
- Edge decreases when stepping up to reverse beading direction
- Adding a new length of thread and securing thread ends before trimming
If you are unfamiliar with creating a Rick Rack on a PodCast, standard peyote start instructions are included at the end of the tutorial as an alternative method.
