I’m a self-taught bead artist located in the city of Aberdeen Scotland. My artistic journey progressed naturally from knitting and crocheting, to designing and creating one of a kind 3-dimensional geometric jewellery and fashion accessories.
Inspiration for my beaded pieces comes predominantly from architecture and landscapes of places I have visited and lived in. In my work I explore my ongoing fascination with the suppleness of the beaded fabric and I strive not to repeat any of the designs making each piece unique.
You can see my work online and in Kate McKinnon’s Contemporary Geometric Beadwork vol II book. “With a Twist” bangle won a top prize at the 2016 International Bead Competition held in Stuttgart.
