I am a bead artist based in Aberdeen, Scotland, creating sculptural, three-dimensional jewellery and fashion accessories from thousands of tiny glass beads. My creative journey began with knitting and crochet and evolved naturally into designing intricate, geometric pieces that blur the boundaries between adornment and art.
Architecture and landscapes — particularly from the places I’ve lived in and visited — are constant sources of inspiration. I’m fascinated by the suppleness of woven beadwork and continually experiment with structure, movement, and form. By varying bead counts, sizes, and finishes, I create pieces that are both tactile and architectural, exploring balance and fluidity within geometric frameworks.
Each design is unique; I rarely repeat a piece, ensuring that every creation carries its own identity and story. My work has been featured in Contemporary Geometric Beadwork, Vol. II and the Beadworkers Guild Art Deco Beadwork series, exhibited at Milton Art Gallery in Banchory, and is available at the Edit Art Store in Bon Accord Centre, Aberdeen.
